Terms and Conditions
We are Formula One Digital Media Limited of No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH (“we”, “us”, “our”, and the “Promoter”). We and our group companies own the exclusive right to commercialise the FIA Formula One World Championship® in all media. We are the promoter of the Prize Draw.
“You”, “your”, and the “participant” means the individual entering the Prize Draw.
By entering the Prize Draw you accept these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”).
For the avoidance of doubt, the terms of use of formula1.com and our privacy policy shall apply to your use of formula1.com.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. WHO CAN ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
1.1 Subject to Paragraph 5.1 below, this Prize Draw is only open to entrants who:
a) are aged 21 and above;
b) have access to the internet and an F1 Unlocked account or F1.com account (and such account has a valid verified email address connected with it), which accounts are free to create;
c) are residents of the UK, EU, or USA, and other territories where its operation and the Prize(s) are permitted (where operation of entry of this Prize Draw is not permitted by applicable law or regulation, this Prize Draw shall not be operated and residents of such jurisdictions and or territories are not permitted to enter); and
d) where the Prize involves attendance at an event, be able to legally enter the country where the relevant event is being held (for the avoidance of doubt, if a visa and/or a valid passport are necessary for you to legally enter the country, you must be (i) eligible to obtain a visa; and (ii) hold a valid passport).
1.2 The Prize Draw is not open to:
a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Prize Draw and their family members;
b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them; or
c) residents of any countries subject to sanctions by the UK and the USA, including for example residents of Russia and Belarus.
1.3 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with Paragraph 1.1. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1 The Prize Draw will run from 12:00 noon (BST) (local time in London, UK) on Tuesday 2nd September 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 (BST) on Tuesday 17th September 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Entries received outside this time period are void and will not be eligible to win any Prize.
2.2 In order to enter the Prize Draw you must, prior to the Closing Date:
a) visit the competition webpage at (https://www.formula1.com/en/page.competition.html); and
b) submit the following details: (i) your email address; (ii) your full name; (iii) your country of residence; (iv) your phone number and dialling code; (v) your favourite driver; and (vi) your favourite team, on the competition webpage.
2.3 The winner of the Prize Draw will be contacted via email. You must provide a valid email address at the time of entering the Prize Draw. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and you will not be eligible to win any Prize. All personal data provided by you when entering the Prize Draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy as per Paragraph 5.2.
2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and purchase of any item does not enhance your chance of winning.

2.6 Only one (1) entry per person and per email address is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning entry. Any attempt to enter more than one (1) time by use of multiple names, email accounts, or any other means is grounds for disqualification.
2.7 We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of submission or delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
3. PRIZE
3.1 Provided that the winner complies with these Terms and Conditions, they will be entitled to receive the one (1) Grand prize available, comprising the following items (collectively, the “Prize(s)”) which will be provided by Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Association (“LVCVA”), Las Vegas Grand Prix (“LVGP”) and BG Sports Enterprises Ltd. t/a F1 Authentics (“F1 Authentics”):
a) Provided by LVGP: Two (2) three-day Skybox tickets (for 21 November 2024, 22 November 2024 and 23 November 2024) located above the Heineken Silver Main Grandstand in the East Harmon Zone (the “Tickets”) at the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024 (the “Event”). The Tickets include complimentary food and beverages (including beer, wine and spirits) in the Skybox area only, Face value is $10,500 USD + 9% Live Entertainment Tax per ticket;
b) Provided by LVCVA: Two (2) economy class round-trip plane tickets from the most suitable (as determined by us) international airport located within the winner’s country of residence (the “Airport”) to Las Vegas, USA (“Las Vegas”): the flight from the Airport to Las Vegas will land in Las Vegas on or around 20 November 2024; and the flight from Las Vegas to the Airport will depart on or around 25 November 2024, (together, the “Flights”); Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary all travel accommodations are subject to availability. Winner and guest must possess all necessary documents for travel.
c) Provided by LVCVA: Four (4) nights hotel accommodation (based on sharing/twin occupancy) in Las Vegas for the winner and their accompanying guest from 20 November to 24 November 2024 inclusive (together, the “Hotel”), with an approximate value of $3,500.00 USD; selection of hotel in our discretion and subject to availability; major credit card will be required upon check-in to cover any incidental charges;
d) Provided by LVCVA: Two (2) Cirque du Soliel tickets one evening between 21 November to 24 November 2024; Face value is $300 USD per ticket, with selection of show in our discretion;
e) Provided by LVCVA: Five Hundred ($500) USD in Food and Beverage credit (in form of gift card at same hotel that suite is booked); and
f) Provided by F1 Authentics: Two (2) squares from the chequered flag waved at the Event, one (1) with the name of the winner printed on it and one (1) with the name of the winner’s accompanying guest printed on it (the “F1 Authentics Prize”). The F1 Authentics Prize includes the cost of postage.
3.2 The Prize(s) listed in Paragraph 3.1 above consists of the Prize(s) only and does not include any associated costs or expenses not specifically listed, including insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports, stations or ports, food and drink, spending money, or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prize(s) are the responsibility of the winner(s). We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize(s) that are not expressly included in Paragraph 3.1 above.
3.3 The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including customs duty, levies and/or other import fees to which any Prize may be subject, and any taxes imposed on their income.
3.4 The approximate retail value for the Prize(s) are as follows:
a) Two (2) three (3) day Skybox tickets valued at $10,500 USD + 9% Live Entertainment Tax per one (1) ticket;
b) Two (2) economy class round-trip plane tickets from the most suitable (as determined by us) international airport to Las Vegas, USA the value will vary depending on the flights available at the time of booking, with an estimated average of approximately $2,000.00 USD;
c) Four (4) nights hotel accommodation (based on sharing/twin occupancy) in Las Vegas, the value will vary depending on the accommodation available at the time of booking, with a maximum value of $3,500.00 USD;
d) Two (2) Cirque du Soliel tickets valued at $300 USD per one (1) ticket;
e) Five Hundred ($500) USD in Food and Beverage credit. Value is as per the credit; and
f) £250 per square of the chequered flag with a printed name (for the F1 Authentics Prize).
3.5 All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize. Any difference between actual value and a variable value noted above will not be awarded.
3.6 We reserve the right to substitute the Prize(s) (or any part of the Prize(s)) with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original Prize(s) offered is/are not available. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of the Event or any other Prize-related activities due to causes beyond our control. In the event of any such cancellation or postponement the remaining portion(s) of the Prizes will be awarded as the complete award to the winner.
3.7 The Prize(s) as set out above and awarded to the winner shall not be used or dealt with in any way that is incompatible with any applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the winner hereby acknowledges and agrees that no Prize (including Skybox tickets) issued pursuant to the these Terms and Conditions may be sold or offered for sale or other form of reward or incentive to any third party.
4. WINNER
4.1 There shall be only one (1) winner. To determine the winner, a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall take place for each Prize listed at Paragraph 3.1. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
4.2 The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place at our offices at No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH no later than Wednesday 18th September 2024.
4.3 The winner will be notified that they have won by email no later than Wednesday 18th September 2024 and provided further details as to how they will be able to claim their Prize(s). Anyone participating in the Prize must be at least 21 years of age.
4.4 If the winner does not respond to us within three (3) days of being notified of their win, the winner’s Prize(s) will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have to respond to notification of their win within three (3) days or else they will also forfeit their Prize(s)).
4.5 If the winner rejects their Prize(s) or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s Prize(s) will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner.
4.6 The decisions of the judges regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
4.7 Proof that a valid winner was awarded can be obtained after the date of the Prize Draw by sending an inquiry to fanexperiences@f1.com.
5. PUBLICITY AND YOUR DATA
5.1 The winner consents to the use by us and our related companies, both before and after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, still and moving images and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by us and our related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, you consent to the same. Residents of Tennessee or any other U.S. state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize shall not be bound by this Paragraph 5.1 to the extent it is lawful.
5.2 We will use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Prize Draw as described in our privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at (https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy), and any other privacy policies we may provide to you from time to time. The information supplied by you in the associated entry form will be used as described on the entry form. Where a Prize is provided by a third party, you may be asked to provide your details to such third party in order for that third party to deliver your Prize.
5.3 Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than us, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.
6. MISCELLANEOUS
6.1 To the extent allowed by appliable law, each of the Promoter, our related companies and LVCVA accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the Prize(s). Each of the Promoter, our related companies and LVCVA further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw save to the extent that such liability results from (i) death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s or LVCVA’s negligence; (ii) the Promoter’s or LVCVA’s fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside our reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud); provided that in such circumstances, we will endeavour, to the extent reasonably possible, to award the Prize in a fair and equitable manner among any entries received not affected by the problem.
6.3 To the extent allowed by applicable law, each of the Promoter, our related companies and LVCVA shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Prize Draw where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, epidemic, pandemic, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
6.4 The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. However, you may have statutory or legal rights in the territory where you live which could apply to your entry in the Prize Draw.
