Terms and Conditions
We are Formula One Digital Media Limited of No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH (“we”, “us”, “our”, and the “Promoter”). We and our group companies own the exclusive right to commercialise the FIA Formula One World Championship® in all media. We are the promoter of the Prize Draw.
“You”, “your”, and the “participant” means the individual entering the Prize Draw.
By entering the Prize Draw you accept these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”).
For the avoidance of doubt, the terms of use of formula1.com and our privacy policy shall apply to your use of formula1.com.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. WHO CAN ENTER THE PRIZE DRAW
1.1 Subject to Paragraph 5.1 below, this Prize Draw is only open to entrants who:
a) are aged 18 and above;
b) have access to the internet and an F1 Unlocked account or F1.com account (and such account has a valid verified email address connected with it), which accounts are free to create;
c) are residents of the UK, EU, or USA, and other territories where its operation and the Prize(s) are permitted (where operation of entry of this Prize Draw is not permitted by applicable law or regulation, this Prize Draw shall not be operated and residents of such jurisdictions and or territories are not permitted to enter); and
d) be able to legally enter the country where the Event is being held (for the avoidance of doubt, if a visa and/or a valid passport are necessary for you to legally enter the country, you must be (i) eligible to obtain a visa; and (ii) hold a valid passport).
1.2 The Prize Draw is not open to:
a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Prize Draw and their family members;
b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them; or
c) residents of any countries subject to sanctions by the UK, the USA and the EU, including for example residents of Russia and Belarus. 1.3 In entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so in accordance with Paragraph 1.1. We may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
2. HOW TO ENTER
2.1 The Prize Draw will run from 12:00 noon (BST) (local time in London, UK) on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 (BST) Wednesday 16th October 2024 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Entries received outside this time period are void and will not be eligible to win any Prize.
2.2 In order to enter the Prize Draw you must, prior to the Closing Date:
a) visit the competition webpage at (https://www.formula1.com/en/page.competition.html); and
b) submit the following details: (i) your email address; (ii) your full name; (iii) your country of residence; (iv) your phone number and dialling code; (v) your favourite driver; and (vi) your favourite team, on the competition webpage.
2.3 The winners of the Prize Draw will be contacted via email. You must provide a valid email address at the time of entering the Prize Draw. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and you will not be eligible to win any Prize. All personal data provided by you when entering the Prize Draw will be processed in accordance with our privacy policy as per Paragraph 5.2.
2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw and purchase of any item does not enhance your chance of winning.

2.6 Only one (1) entry per person and per email address is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning entry. Any attempt to enter more than one (1) time by use of multiple names, email accounts, or any other means is grounds for disqualification.
2.7 We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of submission or delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
3. PRIZE
3.1 Provided that the winners comply with these Terms and Conditions, they will each be entitled to receive one (1) of the prizes available, comprising the First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize (as detailed below) (each a “Prize”, and collectively the “Prizes”) which will be provided by Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C.:
First Prize:
Two (2) three-day Paddock Club™ tickets for FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX (29th November to 1st December 2024 inclusive) (the “Event”) for the First Prize winner and their guest. The tickets include:
• Three-day access to the Event circuit and the Formula One Paddock Club.
• Prime viewing from above the pit lane and team garages, looking over the start/finish line, with free grandstand seating available as well.
• Gourmet hospitality and premium bars serving spirits, sparkling wine, beer and soft drink throughout the Event weekend.
• Pit lane walkabout(s) at specially allotted times.
• Guided F1 track Tour & access to the Qatar Support Race Paddock.
• Access to one (1) private VIP parking space.
Two (2) business class round-trip plane tickets from the most suitable (as determined by us) international airport located within the winner’s country of residence (the “Airport”) to Qatar (“Qatar”). The flight from the Airport to Qatar will land in Qatar on or around 27 November 2024; and the flight from Qatar to the Airport will depart on or around 2 December 2024. The First Prize winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary. All travel accommodations are subject to availability. The First Prize winner and their guest must possess all necessary documents for travel.
Five (5) night stay at The W Doha Hotel (based on sharing/twin occupancy) in Doha for the First Prize winner and their accompanying guest from 27 November to 2 December 2024 inclusive. Major credit card will be required upon check-in to cover any incidental charges.
Two (2) tickets for a Discover Doha by Air Tour. The tickets include:
• A 45-minute air-conditioned flight over Doha’s most-iconic sites, impressive skyline and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ stadiums.
• Two (2) licensed pilots to enrich the flight with local knowledge and commentary.
• Complimentary bottle of water.
• One (1) carry-on bag per person with a maximum weight of 5kg.
Two (2) tickets for the El Clasico Legends. The tickets include: 2 Category A (ticket/seat type) tickets for ‘El Clásico Legends’ match at Khalifa International Stadium on 28th November 2024. Gates open at 16:00 AST (local time in Qatar), Ceremony at 17:00 AST and kick off at 18:00 AST.
Second Prize:
Two (2) Main Grandstand 3-day tickets for the Event (as defined above). The tickets include:
• Entrance for all three (3) days of the Event.
• 3-day access to assigned seats at the Main Grandstand.
• Entrance to the F1® Fan Village where you will find entertainment, activities for adults and kids, plus live entertainment.
• Access to the food court at the Event to enjoy a broad selection of local and international cuisine.
• Entry to all the post-race F1® concerts featuring international and Arabic artists.
• Access to F1® merchandise and local merchandise outlets.
• Complimentary return shuttles between Lusail Metro Station and the circuit.
• Easy access to free parking.
Two (2) economy class round-trip plane tickets from the Airport (as defined above) to Qatar (as defined above). The flight from the Airport to Qatar will land in Qatar on or around 27 November 2024; and the flight from Qatar to the Airport will depart on or around 2 December 2024. The Second Prize winner and their guest must travel on the same itinerary; All travel accommodations are subject to availability. The Second Prize winner and their guest must possess all necessary documents for travel.
Five (5) night stay at La Cigale Hotel (based on sharing/twin occupancy) in Doha for the Second Prize winner and their accompanying guest from 27 November to 2 December 2024 inclusive. Major credit card will be required upon check-in to cover any incidental charges.
Two (2) Tickets for a Discover dinner in the Desert Tour. The tickets include:
• Collection (pick-up and drop-off) at major hotels within Doha city limits.
• Taking approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, travel by air-conditioned vehicle from your chosen pick-up point to the entrance to the desert at Sealine.
• Brief stop at Sealine to prepare the 4x4 vehicle for the desert drive.
• Off road desert drive through the dramatic sand dunes with experienced and qualified drivers to the destination of Khor Al Adaid.
• Dinner in a private traditional set up at the Arabian Sea.
• Return journey from the desert onward to your chosen drop-off location.
Two (2) tickets for the El Clasico Legends. The tickets include: 2 Category A (ticket/seat type) tickets for ‘El Clásico Legends’ match at Khalifa International Stadium on 28th November 2024. Gates open at 16:00 AST (local time in Qatar), Ceremony at 17:00 AST and kick off at 18:00 AST.
Third Prize:
Five (5) pairs of North Grandstand 3-day tickets for the Event (as defined above). The tickets include:
• Entrance for all three (3) days of the Event.
• 3-day access to free seating within the North Grandstand.
• Entrance to the F1® Fan Village where you will find entertainment, activities for adults and kids, plus live entertainment.
• Access to the food court to enjoy a broad selection of local and international cuisine.
• Entry to all the post-race F1® concerts featuring international and Arabic artists.
• Access to F1® merchandise and local merchandise outlets.
• Complimentary return shuttles between Lusail Metro Station and the circuit.
• Easy access to free parking.
Two (2) Complimentary entry pass to the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum. To be used between 27th November to 4th December. During opening hours only, found at 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum - 321 Sports Museum (321qosm.org.qa).
Five (5) pairs of entry tickets to Doha Beach Club. The entry tickets include:
• Admission into Doha Beach Club.
• Access to Qatar's largest floating waterpark- Doha Beach Club.
• Access to self-service food kiosks and bar.
• Complimentary sunbed or bean bag - subject to availability.
• Complimentary beach towel and cold bottle of water.
• Complimentary internet access.
3.2 The Prizes listed in Paragraph 3.1 above consist of the Prizes only and do not include any associated costs or expenses not specifically listed, including travel costs, baggage costs, insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports, stations or ports, food and drink, spending money, or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the Prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s). We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prizes that are not expressly included in Paragraph 3.1 above.
3.3 The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, including customs duty, levies and/or other import fees to which any Prize may be subject, and any taxes imposed on their income.
3.4 The approximate retail value for the Prizes are as follows:
a) The First Prize is valued at $37,153.64 USD with 2x Paddock Club tickets & 5-night stay at W Doha Hotel being valued at $15,658 USD, 2 x business class flights with the value being dependent on departure country but as an example, London-Doha is valued at $20,967.64 USD on 15 September 2024, 2 x Discover Doha by Air Tour being valued at $390 USD, and 2x tickets for the El Clasico Legends being valued at $138 USD;
b) The Second Prize is valued at $7626.38 USD with 2x Grandstand tickets & 5-night stay at La Cigale Hotel being valued at $4010 USD, 2 x economy class flights with value being dependent on departure country but as an example, London-Doha is valued at $3176.38 USD on 15 September 2024,, 2 x Discover Dinner in Desert Tour being valued at $302 USD and 2x tickets for the El Clasico Legends being valued at $138 USD; and
c) The Third Prize valued at $939 USD with 2x North Grandstand tickets being valued at $824 USD, 2x Entry to Doha Beach Club being valued at $60 USD and 2x Entry to 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum being valued at $55 USD.
3.5 All Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize. Any difference between actual value and a variable value noted above will not be awarded.
3.6 We reserve the right to substitute the Prizes (or any part of the Prizes) with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original Prizes offered is/are not available. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of the Event or any other Prize-related activities due to causes beyond our control. In the event of any such cancellation or postponement the remaining portion(s) of the Prizes will be awarded as the complete award to the winner(s).
3.7 The Prizes as set out above and awarded to the winners shall not be used or dealt with in any way that is incompatible with any applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010, and the winner hereby acknowledges and agrees that no Prize (including Paddock Club tickets) issued pursuant to the these Terms and Conditions may be sold or offered for sale or other form of reward or incentive to any third party.
4. WINNER
4.1 There shall be one (1) winner of the First Prize; one (1) winner of the Second Prize; and five (5) winners of the Third Prize. To determine the winners, a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall take place for each Prize listed at Paragraph 3.1. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
4.2 The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place at our offices at No. 2 St James’s Market, London, SW1Y 4AH no later than Friday 18th October 2024.
4.3 The winners will be notified that they have won by email no later than Friday 18th October 2024 and provided further details as to how they will be able to claim their Prize. Anyone participating in the Prize must be at least 18 years of age.
4.4 If a winner does not respond to us within three (3) days of being notified of their win, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have to respond to notification of their win within three (3) days or else they will also forfeit their Prize).
4.5 If a winner rejects their Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the winner’s Prize will be forfeited and we shall be entitled to select another winner.
4.6 The decisions of the judges regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw are final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
4.7 Proof that valid winners were awarded can be obtained after the date of the Prize Draw by sending an inquiry to fanexperiences@f1.com.
5. PUBLICITY AND YOUR DATA
5.1 Each winner consents to the use by us and our related companies, both before and after the Closing Date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, still and moving images and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by us and our related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, you consent to the same. Residents of Tennessee or any other U.S. state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a publicity release as a condition of winning a Prize shall not be bound by this Paragraph 5.1 to the extent it is lawful.
5.2 We will use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Prize Draw as described in our privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at (https://account.formula1.com/#/en/privacy-policy), and any other privacy policies we may provide to you from time to time. The information supplied by you in the associated entry form will be used as described on the entry form. Where a Prize is provided by a third party, you may be asked to provide your details to such third party in order for that third party to deliver your Prize.
5.3 Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than us, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.
6. MISCELLANEOUS
6.1 To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Promoter and our related companies accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the Prizes. The Promoter and our related companies further disclaim any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw save to the extent that such liability results from (i) death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence; (ii) the Promoter’s fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
6.2 We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside our reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud); provided that in such circumstances, we will endeavour, to the extent reasonably possible, to award the Prizes in a fair and equitable manner among any entries received not affected by the problem.
6.3 To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Promoter and our related companies shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Prize Draw where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, epidemic, pandemic, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
6.4 The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts. However, you may have statutory or legal rights in the territory where you live which could apply to your entry in the Prize Draw.
