Audi’s eye-catching launch livery added to F1 22 video game
While Audi will not be joining the F1 grid until the 2026 season, fans already have the chance to race with the famous four rings in a virtual world thanks to the official EA SPORTS F1 22 racing game.
Audi announced their F1 entry as a power unit supplier back in August, at the same time unveiling a show car with a special launch livery. Now, EA Sports and Codemasters have digitally recreated the colour scheme and integrated it into F1 22 with the latest in-game update.
Available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC (including VR), all of the current teams, drivers and tracks are featured in F1 22, with Audi’s show car arriving as part of the ‘Podium Pass Series 4 VIP tier’.

A couple of months after announcing their entry, Audi confirmed an agreement with Sauber to make the Swiss F1 operation their works team from 2026, when new engine regulations that feature increased electrical power and 100% sustainable fuels will be introduced.
“It’s not a given to be a part of the official simulation of Formula 1 three years before our first race,” said Henrik Wenders, Head of Brand, Audi, as the clock ticks down until the manufacturer arrives in F1.
“Our show car has caused quite a stir from the very first moment with its striking design and the color scheme that is typical of Audi in motorsport. Everywhere it has been in action, the reactions have been extremely positive. I’m convinced that our show car will also win many fans in the virtual world.”
