MONTREAL, QUEBEC - JUNE 19: Max Verstappen of the Netherlands driving the (1) Oracle Red Bull

The F1 circus has hopped across the pond for the second time this season, for the Canadian Grand Prix. But after a weekend off, who is going to come back with a bang and who might return with more of a whimper?

188BET’s odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win

Unsurprisingly, Max Verstappen is favourite to take the victory. The Dutchman has already won five out of the seven races held so far in 2023, with his team mate winning the other two.

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Again, the bookmakers have installed the Dutchman as favourite to take pole - but the pace of the Red Bull over a single lap hasn't been as dominant as on race day. As such, Ferrari come back into the reckoning. Their car is much better in qualifying trim, and both Scuderia drivers have been showing a decent turn of pace over one lap.

The odds for a podium finish

Last time out, Mercedes managed to secure a double podium in Spain. It's a feat only managed by Red Bull, with Ferrari only managing one single podium all season. The midfield also only have one podium appearance so far courtesy of Esteban Ocon's third place in Monaco.

As for Lance Stroll, his season's best finish is fourth which was achieved back in Australia. Could he get his podium tally up and running on home soil? He's never finished in the top three at his home race – but he's also never managed to make it out of Q1, and yet has scored three times here out of four, so if he can qualify well...

The odds for a Safety Car appearing during the race

That Wall of Champions has caused more than one Safety Car here over the years, and sometimes the weather also plays havoc with this race. The good news for those who like watching drivers race in the wet is that there could be rain around all weekend - and that could well influence whether the Safety Car is called into action.
