IT'S RACE WEEK: 5 storylines we're excited about ahead of the Miami Grand Prix
The odds for the win
Red Bull are the team to beat heading into Miami, as Max Verstappen won the Bahrain and Australian Grands Prix and Sergio Perez won Rounds 2 and 4 of the season in Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, respectively. Perez also won the first Sprint of the season in Baku.
So it's no surprise that Verstappen is top of the charts when it comes to the odds – while Perez is second-favourite, though at a longer 4.00.
As for Charles Leclerc, who took pole position and a podium in Azerbaijan, he's now third-favourite – pushing Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso down to fourth-favourite.
- Max Verstappen 1.45
- Sergio Perez 4.00
- Charles Leclerc 15.0
- Fernando Alonso 17.0
- Lewis Hamilton 26.0
- Carlos Sainz, George Russell 34.0
- Lance Stroll, Lando Norris 151
- Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly 301
- Alex Albon, Kevin Magnussen, Logan Sargeant, Nico Hulkenberg, Nyck de Vries, Oscar Piastri, Valtteri Bottas, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu 601
The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying
Verstappen's run of three-straight pole positions was ended by none other than Ferrari's Leclerc – who also clinched pole for the Sprint on Saturday – in Azerbaijan, which means that Red Bull could well find themselves with a sparring partner on one-lap pace.
Verstappen is still favourite to take pole but Leclerc isn't far off in the stakes. Perez's odds of taking pole however have been lengthened and he's now third-favourite overall.

The odds for a podium finish
Verstappen is the only driver to finish on the podium in every race this season as team mate Perez couldn't reach the rostrum in Australia – so the Dutchman is once again favourite in this regard while Perez is a close second-favourite.
PALMER: Perez was superb in Baku – but can he kick on and take the title fight to Verstappen?
As for Alonso, his three-strong podium streak came to a close last time out at Baku – though he still finished a close fourth – thanks to Leclerc, who took his first podium of the season with P3 in Azerbaijan. Alonso is ahead of Leclerc in the list below while Lewis Hamilton is fifth-favourite to land on the podum having done so in Australia.
- Max Verstappen 1.20
- Sergio Perez 1.32
- Fernando Alonso 1.83
- Charles Leclerc 2.25
- Lewis Hamilton 3.0
- Carlos Sainz, George Russell 5.0
- Lance Stroll 9.00
- Lando Norris 21.0

- Alex Albon 201
- Kevin Magnussen, Logan Sargeant, Nico Hulkenberg, Nyck de Vries, Oscar Piastri, Valtteri Bottas, Yuki Tsunoda, Zhou Guanyu 251
The odds for the fastest lap
Mercedes' George Russell is the last driver to have taken fastest lap as he did so in Azerbaijan, where a free pit stop towards the end of the race gave him the chance to fit fresh tyres and blaze around the track. And that's partly where this battle lies.
So while Verstappen is favourite to take fastest lap via the odds below, the field is close in this regard and it could really be anyone on the day.
