After the controversies of Silverstone, we head to the Hungarian Grand Prix for round 11 of the season. Ahead of the running at the Hungaroring, here are the odds for this weekend, provided by 188BET.

188BET's odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win

Max Verstappen may have had his streak of wins ended by his race-ruining crash with Lewis Hamilton at the British Grand Prix, but the Dutchman is favourite to bounce back and claim what would be his first Hungarian Grand Prix win this weekend.

That’s despite Hamilton being an eight-time winner at the Hungaroring, while a ninth triumph this weekend would see him claim the all-time record for most wins at a single venue – while it would also be Hamilton’s 100th victory in F1, after he overcame his clash with Verstappen to take win #99 at Silverstone.

  • Max Verstappen 1.80
  • Lewis Hamilton 2.50
  • Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Perez 15.0
  • Charles Leclerc 17.0
  • Lando Norris 34.0
  • Carlos Sainz 41.0
  • Daniel Ricciardo 67.0
  • Pierre Gasly 101
  • Fernando Alonso 201
  • George Russell, Sebastian Vettel 251
  • Antonio Giovinazzi, Esteban Ocon, Kimi Raikkonen, Lance Stroll, Mick Schumacher, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin, Yuki Tsunoda 601

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Max Verstappen is on a run of four straight pole positions, albeit that it was actually Hamilton who was fastest in qualifying last time out – before Verstappen won the inaugural F1 Sprint, to give him pole for Sunday’s British Grand Prix.

And it’s once again Verstappen who’s favoured to take pole, at the track where he secured his maiden P1 in qualifying in 2019. He sits just ahead of Hamilton in the betting, with Valtteri Bottas a way back as the third-most favoured, Bottas having never taken pole position at the Hungarian track.

  • Max Verstappen 1.67
  • Lewis Hamilton 2.60
  • Valtteri Bottas 13.0
  • Sergio Perez, Charles Leclerc 17.0
  • Lando Norris 51.0
  • Carlos Sainz 81.0
  • Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell 101
  • Pierre Gasly 151
  • Mick Schumacher, Yuki Tsunoda, Antonio Giovinazzi, Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Lance Stroll, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin, Sebastian Vettel 601

The odds for a podium finish

Charles Leclerc’s maiden podium of the season last time out at the British Grand Prix has shortened his odds for a repeat visit ahead of the Hungarian race. That would mark a breakthrough at the Hungaroring for Leclerc, who’s never finished higher than fourth here before.

Look out for his Ferrari team mate Carlos Sainz, though, who’s got a fine Hungaroring record, having finished in the points here every year since 2016 – while the Ferrari SF21’s impressive low-speed abilities should make it a good fit for the kart-like Hungarian track.

The odds for fastest lap

Only Red Bull and Mercedes drivers have claimed fastest laps so far this year, with Sergio Perez taking it last time out at Silverstone – although with the Mexican having finished outside the top 10, he didn’t get a point for it.

Verstappen is the driver with the most this year on four, with Hamilton next on three, Bottas on two, while Perez’s British Grand Prix fastest lap was his first of the year.

What are the odds for which team will take the most points?

Verstappen’s crash and Perez’s non-score at Silverstone meant Mercedes outscored Red Bull 43 points to three last time out. Despite that – or perhaps because of it – Red Bull are favoured to hit back at a Hungaroring track that should suit their RB16B package.

Ferrari, meanwhile, pass McLaren for the third-most favoured, no doubt helped by Leclerc’s rostrum performance in Britain.

  • Red Bull 1.65
  • Mercedes 2.10
  • Ferrari 15.0
  • McLaren 29.0
  • AlphaTauri 151
  • Alpine, Aston Martin 301
  • Haas, Williams, Alfa Romeo 901
