Briatore in 'good and stable' condition after being hospitalised with Covid-19

Former Renault and Benetton boss Flavio Briatore is in hospital in Italy having contracted Covid-19.
The 70-year-old Italian was admitted to San Raffaele hospital, Milan on Sunday having reported a fever, reports Reuters. According to a statement from his staff, his condition is "good and stable", contradicting reports which previously described his condition as "serious".
Briatore steered Michael Schumacher to world titles in 1994 and 1995, and Fernando Alonso to a similar double in 2005/2006 before leaving his role as Renault team boss following the 'crashgate' scandal in 2008/2009.
San Raffaele hospital, where Briatore is being treated, is the same facility that has been looking after former F1 racer and gold-medal Olympian Alex Zanardi following his road accident earlier this year.
