As Formula 1 returns to Monza for the 73rd Italian Grand Prix, many drivers – including the Ferrari pair of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz – will be sporting different looks, as they showcase their extraordinarily creative one-off helmet designs this weekend.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz
As Ferrari celebrate their 75th year as a car company, the Scuderia will be running a special yellow tribute livery on their F1-75, and their drivers – who will also be seen wearing yellow race suits instead of their usual red – have brought their own yellow tribute helmets.
Esteban Ocon
Michael Schumacher – along with Lewis Hamilton – has won at Monza a record five times, with all five victories coming in the red of Ferrari. And for this weekend's action, Esteban Ocon will be wearing a custom helmet in tribute to the seven-time world champion, and his childhood idol.
Zhou Guanyu
Zhou is another who will be wearing an eye-catching one-off helmet this weekend, with the Alfa Romeo driver revealing a Monza, Italy and pizza-inspired design.
Valtteri Bottas
Like his team mate, Bottas will also be running an Italy-inspired helmet this weekend. To add to that, the Finn's lid will also feature a tribute to his Alfa Romeo team at their home race, on a helmet designed by his partner Tiffany Cromwell.
Mick Schumacher
Schumacher will be running a brand-new helmet for the remainder of the season, as the German makes a return to yellow – the colour he used in his formative years in racing – along with a touch of purple on the sides and a dragon on the back.
Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda
The Italian GP is not only a home race for Ferrari, but also for AlphaTauri. And the team's drivers Gasly and Tsunoda have also added the Italian colours to the top of their helmets for this weekend.
