Haas to reveal new-look livery on February 7
Haas may be fielding an unchanged driver line-up of Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen for 2019 but it’s all change for their livery, courtesy of a new title sponsorship with Rich Energy, with their new-look to be unveiled in London on Thursday…
After debuting in F1 with two eighth-place finishes in the constructors’ championship, Haas stepped up their game last season and emerged as the fourth-best team on pure pace.
A series of mistakes meant they failed to convert that advantage, but they still ended up fifth overall – an improvement of three places.
Haas have opted for a combination of red, grey and black in their first three seasons, but for 2019, the American team’s livery will incorporate the black and gold colours of their new energy drinks partner.
The news means Haas will be the first team to unveil their 2019 look, four days ahead of Toro Rosso’s car reveal, with Renault hosting their launch event a day later.
February 13 is going to be a busy day, with Red Bull launching their 2019, Mercedes shaking down their W10 and Racing Point revealing their new identity and livery.
McLaren have opted for a Valentine’s Day reveal, a day ahead of Ferrari and four days before pre-season testing begins.
Alfa Romeo, formerly known as Sauber, will reveal their car on the morning of the first test, meaning Williams are the only team yet to announce their plans.
