MUST-SEE: Front-row starter Charles Leclerc spins off on the Sao Paulo GP formation lap

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc failed to even see the start lights for the 2023 Sao Paulo Grand Prix, after spinning off at Turn 7 on the formation lap.
Although initially it looked like Leclerc might have had a blush-inducing crash, the Monegasque was quickly on the radio lamenting his poor luck after suffering a hydraulic failure that pitched him sideways into the wall.

His crash meant that his P2 spot on the grid remained absent when the other 19 drivers took the start – with chaos then ensuing when a crash between Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg and Alex Albon ultimately saw the race red-flagged.
