Frank Williams grew his eponymous team from a bunch of garagistes working out of an old carpet factory in England into one of Formula 1’s powerhouses, taking seven drivers’ titles, nine constructors’ championships and 114 victories along the way. And as Williams reach their 750th Grand Prix in Monaco, what better time to look back on some of the team’s iconic moments?
So, whether it’s Mansell mania, Damon Hill producing a lump in the throat of commentator Murray Walker, or Pastor Maldonado holding off Fernando Alonso to win the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix – to date the team’s last triumph in F1 – hit play on the video above to enjoy some classic Williams moments ahead of Grand Prix #750 for the team.
