As we prepare to return to the Circuit of The Americas for the 2022 United States Grand Prix, let’s take a trip down memory lane to the 2003 race – held at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

With the title fight between Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen and Michael Schumacher coming to a head as the teams headed to Indy, it was Raikkonen who started the race on pole position.

But with rain coming and going throughout the Grand Prix, fans were treated to a thrilling topsy-turvy contest – one in which Schumacher would ultimately emerge triumphant, putting him just a point away from claiming a record-breaking sixth title.
