It’s nearly time for 2021 pre-season testing to get underway, but ahead of the action, AlphaTauri have whetted the appetites of F1 fans around the world after they revealed a thrilling visor-cam video of rookie driver Yuki Tsunoda putting their new AT02 through its paces.
Tsunoda is preparing for his first season in F1, after finishing an impressive third place in his first year of Formula 2 in 2020.
And with AlphaTauri team boss Franz Tost having recently predicted that Tsunoda would score his first F1 points “after a few races”, it certainly looks from the video up top like the Japanese driver has got to grips with the demands of a Formula 1 car, ahead of his pre-season testing debut at the Bahrain International Circuit on March 12-14.
Enjoy the amazing footage from Tsunoda’s visor camera as he laps the Imola circuit in the 2021 AlphaTauri AT02 in the video above.
