Max Verstappen’s talent has been obvious since he first raced in F1 back in 2015. But it’s taken until 2021 for Verstappen to emerge as a title contender – and what a 2021 it’s been for the Dutchman so far.

But it’s not all been plain-sailing, with Verstappen having endured two DNFs – including his infamous clash with Hamilton at Silverstone – and meaning he trails his Mercedes rival by eight points in the standings currently.
