WATCH: Ride onboard with Verstappen as he takes stellar pole for Austrian GP

Max Verstappen secured his fourth pole position in a row – and also his third-straight pole at the Austrian Grand Prix – with a brilliant lap around the Red Bull Ring.
In a dramatic qualifying session, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was agonisingly close to taking the top spot with an excellent lap of his own, but it was the championship leader who gave Red Bull’s home crowd more to celebrate in Spielberg.

The two-time world champion will certainly be looking to extend his tally at the top of the drivers’ standings in the race on Sunday, and his efforts today will have helped no end.
But now his immediate attention turns to Saturday, with the Sprint Shootout taking place from 1200 local time, and the Sprint itself at 1630. Few will doubt Verstappen can pull off a similarly impressive job around the Red Bull Ring once again.
