Lewis Hamilton equalled Michael Schumacher's record with his seventh title after a sensational drive in last year's Turkish Grand Prix, in an action-packed contest.
The race saw Racing Point's Lance Stroll start from a shock pole position while the likes of Max Verstappen and Alex Albon suffered spins in the wet conditions. None spun as much as Valtteri Bottas, however, who turned his Mercedes round six times on the way to P14.

There was drama as the race approached the chequered flag as well, with Charles Leclerc chasing down Sergio Perez for a podium – only for his hopes to unravel at the very end...
