WEEKEND WARM-UP: Plenty of intrigue in the paddock ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

It's almost time for the second race of the season, and there is an air of intrigue in the paddock ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Max Verstappen’s weekend hasn’t started in ideal fashion, as the Dutchman is set to arrive a day late after being laid low with a stomach bug. He isn’t the only driver who is facing a tricky time of it though, as Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari is set for a grid drop already thanks to reliability concerns.
But will those two be back at the front come Sunday, putting their worries behind them – or can Aston Martin’s meteoric rise to make it a big four rather than a big three continue? The good news for the team in green is that Lance Stroll is fitter than he was in Bahrain, albeit despite still admitting to some discomfort from his wrist injuries.
BETTING GUIDE: Who is set to shine brightest under the lights at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?
As for Mercedes, their team boss had some harsh words to say last time out, and it remains to be seen what sort of direction they will take with the W14. Whether they will be on the pace of Red Bull, Ferrari and Aston Martin is a mystery, with the pecking order likely to be shuffled at a track that is very different to Bahrain.
