George Russell was not happy with Romain Grosjean after the two collided in the Singapore Grand Prix, but the duo – who are friends off track - have since talked about what happened and agreed to put it behind them.
Ahead of the Russian Grand Prix weekend, Grosjean and Russell shared a private jet, along with Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez, from Dubai to Sochi with the duo posting a picture of them sitting opposite each other on social media.
Russell wrote: “To Sochi with friends… and Romain” while Grosjean said: “Flying to Russia with friends and George. (We are good, no boxing gloves needed)".

Speaking in the paddock on Thursday, Russell said there were “no hard feelings” about the incident, which the stewards investigated before opting not to take any further action against either driver.
“Romain is a great guy off the track, we get along,” said the Williams driver. “I disagree with what happened on track but that’s life. We’re both grown men and we can move on from that.
“We spoke on Sunday night, afterwards we text each other to say what happened on track, stays on track, no hard feelings off it. We joked about it, and Carlos and Sergio joked about it on the plane, too.”
Haas driver Grosjean added: “We are all good. George is a great guy, we talked about it. We went to the stewards, we saw all the footage. Mika Salo was the driver steward and said ‘if I was George I would have done the same, if I was Romain I would have done the same’.
“It’s a bit of a shame it ended up that way. We’re all good. We played a bit with social media, it was fun.”
