Aston Martin announce substitute for recovering Lance Stroll at pre-season testing
With Lance Stroll set to miss this week's pre-season test as he recovers from an injury, Aston Martin have announced who will sub in for the Canadian driver in Bahrain.
Stroll picked up injuries from an accident while training and will therefore not be available to drive at the three day test at the Bahrain International Circuit. Aston Martin said that Stroll's incident was "minor" and he is expected to make a "quick recovery".
But for the test, the team's new recruit Fernando Alonso will share track time with Aston Martin reserve driver and 2022 Formula 2 champion Felipe Drugovich on Thursday.
