BETTING GUIDE: Who are the favourites as F1 heads to Sao Paulo for another Sprint weekend?
As the final stop of a triple header sequence, the F1 paddock heads to Brazil for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace has delivered many exciting moments over the years – and there is double the action in store this weekend as the Sprint returns for its penultimate appearance of the season. Can Ferrari continue their winning form, or will McLaren or Red Bull be able to break the Scuderia’s victory streak?
188BET’s odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win
Lando Norris has not stood on the top step of the rostrum for the last two rounds, with that honour instead going to Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz respectively. Despite this, the odds suggest that the McLaren man is most likely to win this weekend in Sao Paulo.
Leclerc and Sainz are not far behind, while Max Verstappen has slightly more distant odds. The Dutchman has not claimed a Grand Prix victory since June, but he may take heart from the return of the Sprint given that he has won every event in the format so far in 2024.

• Carlos Sainz 4.00
• Max Verstappen 8.00
• Oscar Piastri 9.00

The odds for who will be fastest in Sprint Qualifying
Norris is again the favourite to set the pace in Friday’s Sprint Qualifying session, with the Ferrari duo of Sainz and Leclerc also deemed his closest challengers in this category.
Verstappen finds himself on equal odds with Oscar Piastri, who will be hoping to bounce back following a tough weekend last time out in Mexico which saw him exit qualifying in Q1 and line up down in 17th on the grid.

Leclerc took home an additional point for setting the fastest lap of the Mexico City Grand Prix, the Ferrari driver having made a late pit stop to bolt on the soft tyre.
Will the Monegasque repeat the feat this time around? Well, the odds suggest he is second favourite to do so, with Norris deemed as the most likely to claim the accolade – and, given that he has just four races left in his championship fight with Verstappen, that point could prove crucial for the Briton.
