There was a dramatic end to proceedings last time out in Austria when George Russell claimed victory for Mercedes, following a late-race collision between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris as they battled for the lead. But who do the odds favour as F1 returns to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix?

188BET’s odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win

Max Verstappen might have missed out on taking the win at the Red Bull Ring, but the Dutchman still enters the forthcoming race weekend as favourite to stand on the top spot of the podium.

Following their close duel in Spielberg, Norris is deemed the second most likely to claim victory, while McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri and Austrian victor Russell are on slightly more distant odds.

Oscar Piastri 15.0

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Having stormed to pole position in Austria, Verstappen is tipped to repeat the feat this weekend at Silverstone.

A P1 spot on the grid for one of the home favourites would likely prove popular with the crowd, and Norris has the best odds of doing this. Russell and Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, are in with a more distant shout.

Verstappen and Norris again lead the way in this category, with both surely keen to stand on the rostrum this weekend after missing out in Austria.

Russell, Piastri and Carlos Sainz shared the podium on that occasion, and all three have reasonably decent odds to do so at Silverstone, while Red Bull’s Sergio Perez – who has not scored a top-three result since the Chinese Grand Prix – is at the back of the front-runners.

Fernando Alonso is amongst these, with the Spaniard likely to want to bounce back after enduring a challenging weekend in Austria, while Haas duo Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg could also have a chance off the back of their double points finish last time out.

Others in contention include Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll and the RB pair of Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo, the latter of which sealed a P9 finish at the Red Bull Ring.
