The odds for the win
Having won six of the opening eight races so far this year, and having also taken victory three times at the Austrian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen is considered a huge favourite to claim his place on the top step this weekend.
Following his return to the podium last time out in Montreal, Fernando Alonso has been given the second-best odds to claim victory this weekend. Last year’s winner in Austria, Charles Leclerc, is seen as the fifth favourite to win at the Red Bull Ring, despite an improved performance last time out in Montreal.

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying
Verstappen is considered the favourite to make it four pole positions in a row this weekend. However, after his exploits at the first Sprint weekend of the year in Baku, where he took pole for both the race and the Sprint, Leclerc is considered the second favourite to seal pole position.

After failing to make it into Q3 at the last three races, Sergio Perez is tied for fifth in the odds alongside Lewis Hamilton – who last took pole position in Austria in 2016.

The odds for a podium finish
Verstappen – who has finished on the podium at all eight races so far this year – is once again considered the favourite to seal a place on the rostrum this weekend. He is closely followed by Alonso – who has finished on the podium in six of the opening eight races this year.
Hamilton is given the fourth best odds to finish on the podium this weekend after finishing in the top three at the last two races. Lando Norris is given long odds to finish on the rostrum, at the track where he took his first podium back in 2020.

The odds for the fastest lap
Having done so on three occasions this season, Verstappen is once again considered the favourite to take the fastest lap in Sunday’s race. His Red Bull team mate, Perez – who took the fastest lap last time out in Canada – is the second favourite.

Alonso is yet to take a fastest lap this year, but he has been given the third best odds to set the quickest time in the Grand Prix. However, Zhou Guanyu – who took the fastest lap at the season-opener in Bahrain – is considered a longshot to set the fastest lap at the Red Bull Ring.

The odds for which team will take the most points
Red Bull have a dominant start to the campaign and currently lead the constructors’ standings with 321 points – 154 points clear of nearest rivals Mercedes. They are considered the favourites to score, once again, the most points this weekend, and extend their lead at the top.

Mercedes are currently second in the championship, but are given the third best odds to score the most points this weekend behind Aston Martin – whose upgrades in Montreal seem to have taken them back into contention for the podium.

The odds for a Safety Car appearance during the race
The odds see it as more likely than not that we will see the Safety Car this weekend following its outing last time out in Montreal. However, in last year's race, only the Virtual Safety Car was called upon in Austria.
