BETTING GUIDE: Who are the favourites to shine on the streets of Melbourne?
Red Bull have made a fast start to the year and will be looking to claim their third consecutive win this weekend in Melbourne – but what do the odds say about their chances of victory at the Australian Grand Prix?
188BET’s odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

The odds for the win
Max Verstappen is the favourite ahead of team mate Sergio Perez to claim victory at Albert Park this week, with both drivers having won a race each so far this year – with Verstappen winning in Bahrain and Perez sealing victory in Saudi Arabia.
Last year’s Australian GP winner, Charles Leclerc, is given the fourth best odds to secure the win, ahead of Lewis Hamilton – who has won twice at Albert Park, back in 2008 and in 2015. Fernando Alonso, who has finished third in the opening two races, is third favourite for the win behind the two Red Bull racers.

The odds for a podium finish
Verstappen, Perez, and Alonso are the only drivers to have stood on top of the podium so far this season and are currently the three favourites to meet at the top of the rostrum come Sunday afternoon.
Carlos Sainz is fifth in the odds to finish on the podium, ahead of Hamilton and George Russell. However, Alpine team mates Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly, along with Stroll, have been given longer odds to finish in the top three in Melbourne.
