Betting odds for the 2021 Russian Grand Prix – Who will reign supreme at Sochi?
Last time out, Monza served up a thriller as title rivals Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton collided, while Daniel Ricciardo won for McLaren. So who will take the spoils at Sochi? Let's have a look at the odds for the 2021 Russian Grand Prix...
188BET's odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.
The odds for the win
McLaren took a sensational one-two in Monza after Verstappen and Hamilton went two-into-one into the first chicane, the resulting collision taking the championship protagonists out of the Italian GP and helping McLaren secure their first win since 2012 – and Ricciardo his first since 2018.
FORM GUIDE: We look at the favourites as F1 heads to Sochi for the Russian Grand Prix
But Russia is Mercedes country, the Silver Arrows having won every Grand Prix at Sochi since 2014. Nico Rosberg won in 2016, Hamilton in 2014, '15, '18 and '19, and Bottas in 2017 and '20.
The Finn seems to really enjoy the Russian GP venue and, while he's not yet won a race in 2021, he is second-favourite to win this one, ahead of Verstappen:
- Lewis Hamilton 1.60
- Valtteri Bottas 4.50
- Max Verstappen 5.00
- George Russell, Lando Norris, Sergio Perez 26.0
- Daniel Ricciardo 34.0
- Charles Leclerc 67.0
- Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly 101
- Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel 201
- Esteban Ocon, Lance Stroll, Mick Schumacher 301
- Antonio Giovinazzi, Kimi Raikkonen, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin, Yuki Tsunoda 601

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying
Last time out it was the F1 Sprint that set the grid for the Grand Prix but here, it's back to normal, and Saturday's qualifying is all-important on this narrow circuit.
And last time out it was Bottas who topped qualifying, then the F1 Sprint – but he was bumped to the back of the grid with a number of engine penalties.
As for Hamilton, he's on something of a drought when it comes to pole positions – his last coming in Hungary and the one before that coming in Spain. Verstappen is on a rich run of qualifying form, missing out on pole only twice in the last eight rounds. Following the crash at Monza, Verstappen will take a three place grid penalty in Sochi, so technically cannot get pole position (which is specifically the driver who starts the race itself from P1), but the odds below reflect who will set the fastest time in qualifying.
- Lewis Hamilton 1.70
- Max Verstappen 3.50
- Valtteri Bottas 4.50
- Lando Norris 19.0
- Daniel Ricciardo 29.0
- Sergio Perez 34.0
- Charles Leclerc 51.0
- Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly, George Russell, Sebastian Vettel 101
- Lance Stroll 151
- Fernando Alonso 201
- Esteban Ocon 251
- Antonio Giovinazzi, Kimi Raikkonen, Mick Schumacher Yuki Tsunoda 601
- Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin 901
The odds for a podium finish
Italy saw two McLarens – Ricciardo and Norris – finish one-two ahead of Bottas, while regular podium-takers Hamilton and Verstappen crashed out.
No Sprint this time around, a straight-forward qualifying session and a circuit on which the last podium for a driver outside Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari belongs to Sergio Perez in 2015 – so who will finish on the rostrum this time?
The odds are below.
- Lewis Hamilton 1.30
- Valtteri Bottas 1.60
- Max Verstappen 1.70
- Lando Norris 3.00
- Sergio Perez 3.25
- Charles Leclerc, Daniel Ricciardo 5.0
- Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly 12.0
- Sebastian Vettel 13.0
- Esteban Ocon, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll 17.0
- George Russell 21.0
- Antonio Giovinazzi 51.0
- Yuki Tsunoda 67.0
- Kimi Raikkonen, Mick Schumacher 101
- Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin 251
The odds for fastest lap
Not including the shortened Belgian GP, the last five rounds have seen five different drivers take fastest lap. In Austria, it was Verstappen; in Great Britain it was Sergio Perez; in Hungary it was Pierre Gasly; Hamilton took it in the Netherlands; and Ricciardo took fastest lap in Italy.
So that proves the fastest lap contest is open to almost anyone in the top 10. Who will clinch it at Sochi?
- Lewis Hamilton 2.60
- Max Verstappen 3.50
- Valtteri Bottas 4.00
- Sergio Perez 5.50
- Lando Norris 21.0
- Daniel Ricciardo 26.0
- Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc 41.0
- Pierre Gasly 81.0
- Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel 151
- Antonio Giovinazzi, George Russell, Esteban Ocon, Kimi Raikkonen, Lance Stroll, Mick Schumacher, Nicholas Latifi, Nikita Mazepin, Yuki Tsunoda 251

- Mercedes 1.25
- Red Bull 4.50
- McLaren 11.0
- Ferrari 41.0
- Williams 51.0
- AlphaTauri 81.0
- Alpine, Aston Martin 101
