The 2022 British Grand Prix is upon us, Red Bull on a run of six consecutive victories while Ferrari are the hunters this time around. What do the betting odds say about both teams' chances this weekend?

188BET's odds are presented in decimal form: for every $1 wagered you would win the figure represented by the odds; so, if Verstappen is favourite at 1.50, you would win $1.50 for every dollar bet.

Red Bull have won the last six races and Max Verstappen enters this weekend as the favourite having won five of those. After winning the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix here in 2020, he's seeking a maiden British Grand Prix victory.

He is followed by his title rivals Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez, both of whom are looking for a maiden British GP win – though Leclerc did finish runner-up in last year's race, having led after Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton collided.

As for Hamilton, he's won the British Grand Prix a record eight times, though Mercedes are yet to win a race this saeson. They're looking to end their winless run with a host of upgrades for both drivers' home race – but what do the odds say about their chances?

The odds for who will be fastest in qualifying

Leclerc has been in supreme qualifying form this season, with the Ferrari driver having taken pole position for six out of the nine races so far, and the odds have him as the favourite to take top spot on the qualifying timesheets for the seventh time this weekend. He is closely followed by Verstappen – who did qualify on pole in Canada when Leclerc was hit by grid penalties – and Perez.

The odds understandably favour the Red Bull and the Ferrari drivers, as they have been the dominant teams so far this season. But with other teams, including Mercedes and Alpine, expected to bring big upgrade packages to Silverstone, could there be a change in the grid order?

The odds for fastest lap

The last three races have seen three different drivers get the point for fastest lap, with Norris doing so at Monaco, Perez in Azerbaijan and Sainz in Canada. As for Leclerc, not only did his last win come in Round 3 at Melbourne, his last fastest lap came there too. And Verstappen's waited a fair bit for a fastest lap, his last one coming in Miami, Round 6. The Dutchman is favourite to do it this time around...
