Aston Martin have confirmed that Felipe Drugovich will continue to act as the team’s Test and Reserve Driver in 2025, extending his relationship with the squad after first joining them back in 2022.

Drugovich became a member of Aston Martin’s driver development programme following his victory in the 2022 Formula 2 championship, a campaign in which he beat closest challenger Theo Pourchaire by a margin of 101 points.

Since then the Brazilian has continued to work with the squad as one of their test and reserve drivers alongside former F1 driver Stoffel Vandoorne, while his role has also seen him participate in five FP1 sessions as well as three end-of-season tests.

Drugovich also stood in for Lance Stroll during pre-season testing in 2023 after the Canadian suffered injuries in a cycling accident. Away from F1, the 24-year-old has taken part in endurance racing and will drive in the upcoming 24 Hours of Daytona.
