F1 Unlocked winners reflect on F1 75 Live VIP experience

F1 75 Live proved to be an event to remember for those watching – and it was a particularly special evening for some lucky F1 Unlocked competition winners who were treated to a VIP experience.

F1 Unlocked brings fans closer to the action with exclusive prizes that only the world’s most exciting sport can deliver, and on this occasion the winning fans who entered the competition were rewarded with a one-of-a-kind night at The O2 for the spectacular season launch.

After an evening of thrilling entertainment and dazzling livery reveals – as well as a star-studded red carpet beforehand – we chatted to some of the prize-winners to get their take on the VIP experience, including Irving, who hailed the event as “the best experience of our lifetimes” after travelling from Mexico to be there…

Irving

How did you hear about/enter the competition?

“We heard about this on social media, it must have been Instagram.”

When did you book your flights over?

“We booked our flights the same day we were told we had won, so on Monday, February 17.”

Did you enjoy the night?

“We completely enjoyed the event – our excitement level was beyond the sky though we were freezing out there at the red carpet! The show for every livery was pretty impressive.”

Who was your favourite team/driver that you saw?

“Our favourite drivers are Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, and the team obviously. Forza Ferrari!”

Which livery was your favourite?

“The livery we liked the most was the McLaren, keeping the orange but making it look better.”

“I really enjoyed the show and thought it was amazing, it was so lovely to see everyone. It was also entertaining, and it will be an experience I will never forget.”

“I've really loved the evening. It was an amazing show, well organised and very funny. I hope that in the future there will be more events like this because it's a fantastic way to start the new season and it is an opportunity to share the passion for this sport with other people.”

“We had a fabulous evening, it was such a privilege to meet current and past F1 drivers, team principals and the odd celebrity too. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to meet so many people in the sport we love so much. Formula 1 put on a superb show over the whole evening. Congratulations!”
