It’s only been three and a half months since the F1 cars were last racing around the streets of Jeddah, in an action-packed race that saw Lewis Hamilton triumph from Max Verstappen. But with red flags, Safety Cars, crashes and the like, the airwaves were buzzing from lights out until the chequered flag.
From Mick Schumacher spinning into the barriers, to Charles Leclerc collecting Sergio Perez at a restart, the action came thick and fast in the inaugural race. There was frustration aplenty with overtaking options tricky at times on the street circuit, while there was also despair from the likes of Esteban Ocon who came agonising close to a podium.
