F1 ACADEMY: Pulling unassailable on way to double pole in Miami Qualifying
Abbi Pulling was an unstoppable force in F1 ACADEMY Qualifying around the Miami International Autodrome, sealing both pole positions on offer by five and four tenths respectively.
After setting the pace in Friday’s Free Practice 2, the Alpine driver quickly got to work. Sitting second at the halfway mark, Pulling then went fastest and continued to strengthen her hold over P1, topping the timing sheets with a 1:58.507.
Title rival Doriane Pin couldn't quite match the Briton’s pace and had to settle for P2 for Race 1 by 0.574s. Red Bull Racing’s Hamda Al Qubaisi bounced back after a difficult Round 1 in Jeddah to secure third.
