For the first time this season, Sebastian Vettel features in the F1 Fantasy Team of the Week. But before we get to that, we have details on some great new prizes to be won, and tips for your team ahead of this weekend's Bahrain Grand Prix.

New prizes to be won!

The constructors' and drivers' titles may have been settled but it’s still all to play for in F1 Fantasy. With three races of the 2020 season remaining, there are new prizes to be won – here’s how to put yourself in the running.

Sign up to F1 Fantasy or change your existing team here!

Enter the Ambassadors’ Prize Draw

To be in with a chance of winning a signed Lewis Hamilton cap, create a private league spanning Bahrain to Abu Dhabi and invite your friends to join. For every newly registered player – who hasn’t played F1 Fantasy before – that enters your league and creates a team, you’ll get an entry into the prize draw (with a maximum of five entries).

Enter the Middle East mini League

This new Mini League lasts from Bahrain to Abu Dhabi (the final three races of the season) and the prize for winning is a cap signed by the Iceman himself, Kimi Raikkonen. Click here to enter, or use the code: 901d195255

Tips for the Bahrain Grand Prix

If you haven't already used your Mega Driver power up, now's the time to stick it on Lewis Hamilton – the Turkish GP winner is about to hit a streak of top-10 qualifications and race finishes, which means 15 extra points. With the powerup, that’s 45 more points in the bag.

Valtteri Bottas and Max Verstappen are on qualifying streaks here (five extra points), while McLaren’s Carlos Sainz is on a top-10 race finish streak, which means he could score 10 more Fantasy points if he scores for again this weekend.

The McLaren drivers seem to be clawing back performance late in the season, and Lando Norris may have brushed off that rough patch he had from Sochi to Portugal. Perhaps now is the time to include either Sainz or Norris, the latter of whom had a solid 2019 Bahrain GP, in your team – though Racing Point’s Sergio Perez has proved indispensable to a high-scoring F1 Fantasy team this season.

Finally, Kimi Raikkonen and George Russell are solid sub-$10m inclusions to your team for this weekend's race.

Team of the Week from the Turkish Grand Prix

The unpredictable Turkish Grand Prix saw Sebastian Vettel and Sergio Perez score their first podium finishes of the season, so it’s no surprise that the Team of the Week includes both of those drivers, with Perez as Turbo Driver, doubling his points.

The Mexican also scored 10 extra points for completing a five-race streak of top-10 finishes, bringing his total up to 90 points while Vettel took 33.

This player also had both McLaren drivers – Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz in their team – with Norris taking 24 points and Sainz 26.

As usual, most of the team’s points were scored by the race winner, Lewis Hamilton, with a Mega Driver powerup tripling Hamilton’s score to 147 points. However, Racing Point were the constructors here, allowing the player to afford both Vettel and Sainz. Racing Point took 38 points from the race – just two fewer than Mercedes.

Don't forget to change your F1 Fantasy team ahead of the deadline, which is when qualifying begins on Saturday!
