F1 FANTASY: Tips for the Turkish Grand Prix plus Team of the Week from Imola
Ahead of the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix, it’s time to look at ways to maximise your F1 Fantasy points as Istanbul Park returns to the calendar for the first time since 2011. Here are some tips for this weekend's race, and the team of the week from Imola.
Tips for the Turkish Grand Prix
Sergio Perez is the only driver on a race streak for the Turkish GP. That means he’ll get 10 extra F1 Fantasy points if he finishes in the top-10 at Istanbul. Plus, the Mexican has scored a whopping 233 points in F1 Fantasy so far – the most for any driver under $10m, so he's a good value buy either way.

Lando Norris is also one to watch, as the McLaren driver could nab five extra points for a top-10 qualifying performance. He’s suffered a run of poor races from Sochi to Portugal, so now might be a good time to pick up the McLaren driver and catch him ahead of a good run of form.
Planning ahead, if you haven’t played your wildcard just yet, Lewis Hamilton could reach a five-race qualifying and race streak (+15 extra points) in two races’ time, in Bahrain. You could net 45 extra points there, and propel yourself to the top of the Middle East Mini League that takes place over the final three races of the season.
And that Middle East Mini League will have some great prizes up for grabs… so stay tuned for more details on that after the Turkish GP.
Team of the Week from Imola
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was always going to be a tough one to call for F1 Fantasy players, with Valtteri Bottas showing immense form until Sunday, and Pierre Gasly’s early retirement ruining many a player's weekend.
As a result, Gasly’s AlphaTauri team mate, Daniil Kvyat, featured in the Team of the Week, with 30 points thanks to a stunning drive to P4.

Lewis Hamilton won the race and, with a Mega Driver powerup (triple points), took a brilliant 144 points even though he qualified second.
Sergio Perez took 26 points, and this player got his Turbo Driver selection correct, putting the two-times multiplier on Daniel Ricciardo who finished on the podium and netted 68 points. Finally, Romain Grosjean completed the team with 11 points for Haas having gained two positions and beaten his team mate through the weekend.
Once again, Mercedes were the constructors to have, as they took a 1-2 finish and 70 points. In Turkey, they could net 10 extra points if both Bottas and Hamilton finish in the top 10, thanks to a race streak bonus.
