F1 NATION: Horner on Ricciardo's return and Red Bull eye record-breaking win – it's our Hungarian GP preview
Formula 1 returns for the beginning of the final two races before the summer break, with a familiar face joining the cast of drivers getting set to go racing this weekend in Budapest. The F1 Nation crew are once again on hand to preview all this weekend's action.
Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner joins the show to give us the full inside story on how Daniel Ricciardo's F1 comeback happened. He also explains how the decision was made, who called Nyck de Vries to tell him he'd lost his AlphaTauri seat and what Ricciardo's long-term goals are in F1.
Tom Clarkson and two Hungarian Grand Prix experts – two-time winner Damon Hill and podium finisher Pedro de la Rosa – go on to discuss Ricciardo’s return and what it means for him, as well as the outgoing De Vries, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez and AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda.
There's also the small matter of Red Bull chasing history, with the team aiming to set a new record with a 12th straight victory in a row.
