This week’s episode of the F1 Nation podcast takes a look back at a thrilling race in Montreal, as Max Verstappen held off the late challenge of Carlos Sainz, sealing his sixth victory of the season to extend his lead at the top of the drivers’ championship.

Tom Clarkson leads the debrief of the Canadian Grand Prix and is joined this week by 1997 world champion Jacques Villeneuve and Josh Hill – son of ’96 champ and regular F1 Nation presenter Damon.

They reflect on Verstappen’s race-winning drive, his championship lead and whether Carlos Sainz could have caught him at the end of the Grand Prix. They also look at whether Ferrari can close the 76-point gap at the top of the constructors’ championship to Red Bull.
