Newey reflects on the squad maintaining their 100% win record for the season so far, in addition to Verstappen’s team mate, Sergio Perez, bouncing back from a difficult run of races – while shrugging off illness – and returning to the podium.
There is also time to talk about Ferrari’s improved performance, with their upgraded SF-23 getting the better of Aston Martin and Mercedes across a Sprint weekend that brought mixed weather conditions, thrilling battles and track limits violations aplenty.

McLaren were another team to catch the eye as Lando Norris ended an encouraging weekend in fourth position after taking on a batch of upgrades, leaving Stella to ponder what might be possible going forward, and Szafnauer to plot a response from Alpine.
Although unable to follow up his impressive run to seventh in Canada, there were further positive signs from Alex Albon and Williams throughout the Sprint event, with the Thai-British driver stopping by to give his assessment of their efforts.
