F1 NATION: Verstappen makes it three titles on the bounce and McLaren shine under the lights – it's our Qatar GP review

Max Verstappen won his third straight drivers’ title in Qatar on Saturday, before rounding out his weekend in style with victory in the Grand Prix. It was his 14th win of an incredibly dominant season, and here to review not just that, but all the goings on from Qatar is the F1 Nation podcast crew.

Host Tom Clarkson is joined by Sam Power from Channel 10 in Australia and Jessica Hawkins, Aston Martin’s Ambassador Driver, to delve into all the action from the Sprint weekend at the Lusail International Circuit.

While it was undoubtedly the Max Verstappen show on Sunday, Saturday saw young upstart Oscar Piastri threaten to steal the Dutchman’s thunder as he recorded his first P1 in both the Shootout and the Sprint itself. The Aussie rookie joins the podcast crew to reflect on a very successful weekend – as well as those possibly controversial team orders.

McLaren’s rise back to the sharp end of the grid has left Aston Martin in a spot of bother, as the team in green fight to stay in fourth in the constructors’ championship.

Their Performance Director Tom McCullough is on hand to explain what's going on at Aston, whether any more upgrades are coming, and what he thinks of his team’s chances heading into next season.

Also joining our crew to discuss all things Verstappen are Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner and Verstappen’s manager, Raymond Vermeulen.

They look at the highlights from the season so far, and delve into just what has changed about the Dutchman since his dramatic entry into the sport all the way back in 2015.

Horner also touches on the form of Sergio Perez, off the back of another disappointing weekend for the Mexican in Qatar.
