The final Grand Prix of the season saw Max Verstappen win for a record-extending 19th time in 2023, as he claimed his fourth successive victory in Abu Dhabi. George Russell did enough for Mercedes to claim second in the constructors' ahead of Ferrari, while there were a slew of incidents further down the field. All of which the F1 Nation team unpick in their race review...

Verstappen has broken so many records this season it is hard to know where to start, but Tom Clarkson, Damon Hill and Aston Martin ambassador Pedro de la Rosa are on hand to look at not just his faultless race at Yas Marina, but also his season as a whole.

With the drivers' and constructors' championships sewn up, it was all eyes on Mercedes and Ferrari as they duelled for second, and it all came down to the last lap in a grandstand finish that saw Russell trying to keep close enough to Sergio Perez to take third, while Lewis Hamilton and Yuki Tsunoda went wheel-to-wheel for seventh.
