It was a dramatic Mexico City Grand Prix with Max Verstappen breaking another record as he scored his 16th victory of the season. But there was plenty more to unpack from the weekend and our F1 Nation crew is on hand to review it all.

They also discuss the heartbreaking scene of Sergio Perez retiring out at his home race. The Red Bull driver made a fast start but collided with Charles Leclerc at Turn 1, with the damage sustained too bad for him to continue.
Also on the agenda is Lewis Hamilton’s strong drive to second, with the seven-time world champion putting in a stunning masterclass in managing your tyres. He has now closed the gap to Perez for second in the drivers’ championship to just 20 points.

They also talk about Lando Norris’ mega drive from 17th on the grid to fifth, as well as Daniel Ricciardo’s outstanding performance over the weekend that ended with him finishing in seventh for AlphaTauri.
The crew are also joined by Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur, who reflects on Charles Leclerc’s podium, as well as his McLaren adversary Andrea Stella, and Aston Martin’s Performance Director Tom McCullough.
