Share
There was great news for Formula 1 fans everywhere last week when it was announced the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium will continue to host Grands Prix until at least 2031.
The historic track is truly woven into the fabric of F1, having hosted top level Grands Prix from before the Formula 1 championship even began. The Belgian Grand Prix was then held at Spa in the first F1 season in 1950, and races have been run there ever since, with the occasional break.
