F3: Bedrin heads up AIX Racing 1-2 in maiden victory
Nikita Bedrin converted from the front row of the grid to secure his first FIA Formula 3 race victory on a momentous day for AIX Racing.
The team earned their first win in the Championship in impressive fashion, as teammate Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak took his maiden podium also in a 1-2 finish.

PREMA Racing and Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy talent Dino Beganovic completed the podium in third. The Swede started on reverse grid pole but lost the lead of the race on the opening lap to Bedrin, who was able to resist the pressure from behind the rest of the way.
An overtake attempt in the latter half of the race at Turn 2 left Beganovic skating off the track, dropping him behind Inthraphuvasak who profited to claim P2 in the process.
Tim Tramnitz of MP Motorsport and ART Grand Prix’s Christian Mansell battled for the majority of the Sprint and rounded out the top five positions.
Callum Voisin had been in the podium hunt earlier on in the race, but the Rodin Motorsport driver dropped to sixth by the end.
In the Championship battle, Leonardo Fornaroli claimed important points with P7. Luke Browning fought back from 15th on the grid to secure eighth by the chequered flag and close in on points leader Gabriele Minì, who failed to score in the Sprint.
