F3: Edgar holds off O’Sullivan in dramatic Monza Feature Race as landmark sustainably-fuelled season draws to a close
Jonny Edgar took both his first Formula 3 podium and win with a mature performance in the 2023 season finale at Monza. Battling with Caio Collet and Zak O’Sullivan for the victory, the MP Motorsport driver fought hard to regain the lead and overcame four Safety Cars and a last lap restart to ensure his Dutch team achieved back-to-back wins.
O’Sullivan put the pressure on his fellow Brit Edgar but had to settle for second, securing enough points to claim second in the drivers’ championship and help PREMA Racing retain the teams’ title. Taylor Barnard fought hard from eighth to round out an all-British podium in third.
