As we look ahead to the final six races of the year, McLaren hold a 41-point lead in the constructors’ standings while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen currently heads the drivers’ leaderboard by 52 points, meaning the two championship trophies could be heading to different destinations in 2024.

While the drivers’ and constructors’ titles have usually come as a pair in F1 history, this year wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been split between two different teams – in fact it’s happened 11 times before…
