GALLERY: Meeting legends, courtside tickets and baseball – here's what the drivers have been getting up to in Miami
Formula 1 has landed in America ahead of this weekend's inaugural Miami Grand Prix, and the drivers have wasted no time heading out into the town (and in some cases, beyond) to see what the States has to offer. Check out what the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Pierre Gasly and Lando Norris have been getting up to…
Lewis Hamilton
We got a meeting between two seven-time champions as Sir Lewis Hamilton and NFL legend Tom Brady came together for a round of golf. That is a large amount of silverware going around one golf course.
Pierre Gasly
AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly not only spent the evening having dinner with the great Michael Jordan, but he also got the sporting icon to try on his helmet. An “unforgettable evening” indeed.

Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc
Max Verstappen and his team mate Sergio Perez, along with championship leader Charles Leclerc, have also been taking in another sport, with all three drivers each getting a warm welcome from the Miami Marlins.
Yuki Tsunoda
AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda was in New York before heading to Miami as he was ringside at Madison Square Garden to watch Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s World Championship battle.
Esteban Ocon
Alpine’s Esteban Ocon also continued the sports team theme of the week but instead the French driver visited MLS team Inter Miami. Esteban used the time to practice his football skills and get in a quick workout.
George Russell
Another driver visiting a Miami sports team was Mercedes’ George Russell, who was caught on the jumbotron sitting courtside at the Miami Heat’s most recent playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Zhou Guanyu
A few drivers will be rocking brand new Miami-inspired helmets for this weekend’s race, and Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu recently revealed his helmet design. We can’t wait to see this out on track.
Carlos Sainz
Charles Leclerc might have gone to the Marlins game without Carlos Sainz, but he did join his team mate to watch the Spaniard's favourtie football team – Real Madrid – win their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday. Yes Carlos, you did win 3-1.
Lando Norris
McLaren’s Lando Norris took some time to take in an activity that has become synonymous with the young Briton, as he took his talents to the golf course ahead of this weekend’s race. In the now-famous words of Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler – who Norris gave a hot lap around Montreal to back in 2019 – he was really driving driving.
