GALLERY: Watch as the 2022 cars – including Mercedes’ radically updated W13 – hit the track in Bahrain
The 2022 F1 cars are back on track, this time taking to the Bahrain International Circuit for the Official Pre-Season Test on March 10.
Haas have announced that Kevin Magnussen will return for the 2022 season, though we will see Pietro Fittipaldi in the VF-22 today, but not until the afternoon due to a freight issue delaying the American team’s arrival.

The talk of the paddock has been the Mercedes W13, as the eight-time constructors’ champions debuted a much-changed car from the one previously seen at their Silverstone shakedown and at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Zhou Guanyu is in the car for Alfa Romeo on Thursday morning, the team having unveiled the livery of their new C42 car after Barcelona running. Valtteri Bottas will have to wait until the afternoon to get his chance in the car.
