HIGHLIGHTS: All the action from Day 2 of the Official Pre-Season Test in Bahrain

Bahrain's Official Pre-Season Test continued on Friday with hundreds of laps laid down by the field in preparation for the upcoming 2022 Formula 1 season.
Temperatures soared as Esteban Ocon set the early pace in the morning session, before brake fire engulfed the rear of Nicholas Latifi’s Williams. The driver helped the marshals extinguish the flames, but the resultant damage spelled the end of his day.

The afternoon saw a whole new host of drivers take to the track, and it was Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz who was quickest when the main action drew to a close. While the Scuderia impressed, McLaren by contrast struggled. Their Day 1 brake issues returned and Lando Norris at one point had to push his own car back to the pits.
