HIGHLIGHTS: Catch-up on FP3 as Piastri pips Verstappen and Bearman suffers second spin
Share
Oscar Piastri topped final practice at the Australian Grand Prix with just 0.081s separating the top three.
George Russell and Max Verstappen were hot on the heels of the Australian McLaren driver. Charles Leclerc and Kimi Antonelli completed the top five, with Williams pairing Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon ahead of eighth-placed Lewis Hamilton.
Yuki Tsunoda and Lando Norris made up the rest of the top 10.
Ollie Bearman continued his difficult weekend with Haas by spinning into the Turn 11 gravel on his first flying lap of the session, compounding his FP1 crash which severely limited his Friday running.
It was also a difficult session for Liam Lawson, who was restricted to only a single installation lap before his Red Bull mechanics spent the remainder of the hour fixing a pneumatic problem with his power unit.
