George Russell may not have grabbed a first ever pole position in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, but the Williams racer was undoubtedly the star of the show at Spa on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Brit stunned fans as he pumped in a time to take provisional pole on a wet track in the dying moments of Q3, before Red Bull's Max Verstappen followed him over the line to steal top spot on the grid for Sunday's race.
It was a superb performance from Russell, who will start from the front row alongside Verstappen – and ahead of world champion Lewis Hamilton.

And all that action came after a red flag stoppage following a big crash for Lando Norris – who up until that point had looked the likeliest driver to take his first pole having topped Q1 and Q2 – at Raidillon.
The McLaren racer hit the wall and spun back across the track as the rain fell, before climbing out of the car. He was subsequently taken to hospital for more checks, including an x-ray on his elbow.
