Behind the two Mercedes was the familiar sight of Max Verstappen's Red Bull, who just missed out on the front row by an agonising 0.015s. As it is, the Dutchman will have company on row two tomorrow in the form of his ex-team mate Daniel Ricciardo, who converted strong practice pace at Spa to seal fourth on the grid.
