Max Verstappen dominated qualifying as he took pole position for the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as Sergio Perez backed up a Red Bull one-two.
Verstappen finished two-tenths clear of his team mate in qualifying as the reigning champion blazed a trail to pole position.
Ferrari occupy the second row for the start of Sunday's race as Charles Leclerc out-qualified team mate Carlos Sainz, while Mercedes settled for the third row as Lewis Hamilton qualified fifth and George Russell sixth.
In the midfield battle, Lando Norris shares row four with Esteban Ocon and, in his final F1 qualifying session, Aston Martin's Sebastian Vettel made it to Q3 in P9 ahead of Daniel Ricciardo, who falls from 10th to 13th thanks to a penalty carried over from Brazil.
