How to get to and from the Las Vegas Grand Prix
Getting to and from the Las Vegas Strip Circuit is simple, but it’s best to plan your route in advance to catch all the action and make the most of your time in Las Vegas!
The circuit winds its way past iconic locations and encompasses the very best the City of Lights has to offer – including the world-famous Strip.
There are plenty of hotels nearby, so walking may be the easiest way to travel. If you're staying a little further out, we suggest using public transport where possible. There's a number of options to get you right to the heart of the action.
Over the race weekend there will be rolling road closures each day before the roads are re-opened each morning. Bear this in mind when planning your journey. Allow yourself plenty of time, and consider the location of the nearest gate to your zone when planning your route – whether it's by walking, the monorail, tram, or ride-share. Read on for more information.
Transport
If your accommodation is nearby the Las Vegas Strip, one of the best ways to get to the circuit is to walk and take in the sights. Give yourself plenty of time to get to your zone, scan your ticket and have any bags checked – there's lots to see along the way!
The official F1 Las Vegas App features a detailed digital map to show directions to your designated ticketed zone. You can create customized routes specific to your current location, end destination and see real time road openings and closures.
Shuttle services will be available for Paddock Club, Wynn Grid Club, and Garage guests, and guests are encouraged to download the F1 Las Vegas app and use the map feature for more details.
The Las Vegas Monorail is also a fast and convenient way to get around. It saves time, avoids traffic, and travels through seven stations (from one end of the Strip to the other) in under 15 minutes. Stations within the circuit itself include:
- Flamingo & Caesar’s Palace station
- Harrah’s & the LINQ station
- Horseshoe & Paris station
If you choose to take rideshare, use one of the designated drop-off locations closest to your assigned zone. There will be designated rideshare pick-up and drop-off locations at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Howard Hughes Center, Tuscany, Park MGM, and Caesars Palace.
Don't forget to check out the bespoke guides for your zone on the official Las Vegas Grand Prix website for even more information.
Getting into the circuit
There are multiple entrances to the circuit, and information about which entry point is best for you can be found on your ticket. The official F1 Las Vegas App has a circuit map to see which entrance is best for your zone.
Additionally, there will be wayfinding signposts around the venue to help you find your entry point.
The gates open at the following times (hours are local time and are subject to change):
- Thursday: 16:30
- Friday: 16:30
- Saturday: 16:30
Leaving the circuit
Due to the large number of fans leaving the circuit after each day's action, some congestion when exiting the venue should be expected. Keep this in mind when using public transport too.
The gates close at the following times (hours are local time and are subject to change):
- Friday: 01:00
- Saturday: 01:00
- Sunday: 02:00
The Las Vegas Monorail runs until 02:00 Thursday night/Friday morning, and until 03:00 over the weekend.
