Getting to and from the Marina Bay Street Circuit is simple, but it’s best to plan your route in advance to make the most of your time in Singapore.

We suggest using public transport where possible, with a number of options to get you right to the heart of the action.

Singapore's MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) system is a highly efficient and convenient way to get around, thanks to its well-maintained and extensive network. Consider purchasing an EZ-Link card to save money on fares and make your travels smoother.

There are nine entrances to the circuit, opening from 1.45pm until 12am Friday and Saturday, and 2.45pm to 12am on Sunday. The recommended gates for you to enter are listed on the back of your event ticket.

For more information about travelling to the nearest drop-off point to your entrance gate, check out the Singapore Grand Prix website.

We strongly encourage the use of public transport when travelling to and from the circuit

Transport

Plan the route to your grandstand by considering the location of the nearest gate and your mode of transportation, whether it's by MRT, shuttle bus, taxi, or private hire car.

Most gates are within walking distance of an MRT station. The recommended gates are listed on the back of your event ticket. Be sure to allow extra time to arrive at the Marina Bay Street Circuit due to likely congestion.

The MRT is cashless, and will accept payment methods of contactless bank cards, mobile bank cards on mobile phones and smart watches, a SIMPLYGO EZ-Link Card, or a Singapore Tourist Pass.

Please be aware that if you plan to use the MRT, consuming food or drinks on the trains or in the stations is prohibited, and doing so may result in a fine of up to $500.

More information about getting to each grandstand can be found on the dedicated area of the Singapore Grand Prix website.

Finding your way within the circuit

Fans can download the Official Singapore GP Mobile App to help with wayfinding around the Marina Bay Street Circuit. There are wayfinding signs at various points around the venue, and information booths are also located next to most entry gates.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the event grounds span an area roughly equivalent to 80 football pitches!

Leaving the circuit

Due to the large number of fans leaving the circuit after each day's action, congestion when exiting the venue should be expected. Keep this in mind when using public transport too.

The train services from City Hall MRT station are extended until 12.30am on both Friday and Saturday, and 12.45am on Sunday to allow for extra demand.

Information on exiting the circuit via each gate can also be found at the 'Getting Out' page of the Singapore Grand Prix website.
